Topic: Isolation of anaerobic bacteria from rumen contents/culturomics/genome sequencing.
The goal is to create a database that includes new, previously unsequenced bacterial isolates, to improve the understanding of the rumen microbiome and its connection to ruminant nutrition and methane emissions.

El tesista estará bajo la dirección de la Dra. María Cerón Cucchi (INTA-Argentina) y los Dres. Milka Popovay Diego Morgavi (INRAE-Francia).

Requirements: The candidate should have a degree in Biology, Veterinary Medicine, Biochemistry, Genetics, Biotechnology, or a related field. Good knowledge of English is required.

Duration: 3 years.
