The Executive Directorate, together with the Foundation’s project lead, traveled to Paraguay to attend the kick-off meeting for the project "Regional Cooperation in Regenerative Agriculture: Impact Measurement, Technological Innovation, and Knowledge Dissemination in Argentina and Paraguay." Funded by FONTAGRO, the project is being carried out in collaboration with INTA and IPTA. It aims to implement and evaluate regenerative agriculture practices, generate scientific evidence, and promote production systems that are more sustainable, resilient, and profitable. Fundación ArgenINTA is responsible for the project's financial and operational administration, while INTA and IPTA participate in its technical execution.
As part of the mission, activities were carried out in Ciudad del Este (Alto Paraná), alongside a visit to the IPTA’s Capitán Miranda Research Center in Itapúa, with the aim of exploring lines of research, innovation, and technological development, and strengthening coordination among the participating institutions. The agenda included the participation of officials from INTA, IPTA, FONTAGRO, Bayer, and the ArgenINTA Foundation, as well as researchers and producers. The project has a binational scope and aims to generate knowledge that can be replicated and scaled up across Latin America and the Caribbean.
