We are a non-profit civil institution, orientada a promover, apoyar y fortalecer el desarrollo tecnológico agropecuario y la innovación en el ámbito rural.

Created at the initiative of the National Institute of Agricultural Technology (INTA) in July 1993, with the aim of developing an institutional space that would stimulate and facilitate public-private partnerships and the mobilization of resources around initiatives and projects. In this regard, we strive for better integration between the scientific and technological system and the production and improvement of agricultural enterprises and rural life, ensuring sustainable management of natural resources.

Forming an institutional space that facilitates the relationship between the public and private sectors, ArgenINTA is governed by a Board of Directors made up of INTA, Argentine Rural Confederations (CRA), Argentine Association of Regional Agricultural Experimentation Consortiums (AACREA), Argentine Agrarian Federation (FAA), Argentine Rural Society (SRA), Intercooperative Agricultural Confederation (CONINAGRO), Secretariat of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries of the Nation, Faculties of Agronomy, Faculties of Veterinary Medicine, two benefactor members appointed by an agro-industrial entity or company and a representative of the INTA Regional Center Councils.

EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF THE ARGENINTA FOUNDATION

The Board of Directors of the ArgenINTA Foundation, through Act No. 351 of December 17, has appointed Mr. Santiago Alberto DERQUI as Executive Director of the ArgenINTA Foundation.

Santiago holds a degree in Business Administration and served as Chief of Staff at the Secretariat of Bioeconomy until July 2024. He was the Provincial Director of Tourism Promotion and Director of Community Tourism and responsible for the Tourist Towns Program at the Secretariat of Tourism of the Province of Buenos Aires; Director of Community and Sectoral Relations at the Undersecretariat of Agrarian Affairs under the Ministry of Agrarian Affairs and Production of the Province of Buenos Aires; Administrative Coordinator of the Rural Change Program; and Administrative Coordinator within the framework of the FAO (Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations) TCP/ARG/0067 Project with the Undersecretariat of Agricultural, Livestock and Industrial Production of the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Food of the Province of Buenos Aires.

Born in the city of Chacabuco, in the northwest of the Province of Buenos Aires, he graduated from the University of Palermo and holds a Postgraduate Degree in Politics, Government and Tourism from the Catholic University of Argentina, Ministry of Tourism of the Nation and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, International Trade and Worship.

GONZALO ERQUIAGA

HEAD OF PURCHASING AND CONTRACTING

He joined the ArgenINTA Foundation in 2008, serving as Administrative and Accounting Manager of the Institute of Research and Technological Development for Family Farming in the Pampas Region, IPAF Pampeano-CIPAF, until May 2019 when he joined the Administration Management of the ArgenINTA Central Headquarters.

He currently serves as Head of Purchasing and Contracting, an area that reports to the Administration Management.

ERNESTO FERNÁNDEZ

HEAD OF PROJECTS AND INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION

A graduate in International Relations from Maimonides University, he joined the Foundation in 2005 in the Institutional Programs Support Management, performing accounting, financial and budgetary analysis of the Letters of Agreement, preparation of reports and bank reconciliations.

In 2015, she joined the International Relations Coordination team as the Project Management and Administration Officer, overseeing projects under the regulations of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), FONTAGRO, and the European Union. Her responsibilities included managing the hiring of consultants and the procurement of goods, services, materials, and supplies; processing travel expenses and expense reports; preparing financial reports; and managing project budgets.

Since September 2023, he has served as International Operations Coordinator, reporting to the Operations Management.

LUCIANA CACCHIONE

HEAD OF HUMAN RESOURCES

She holds a Diploma in Human Resources, People Experience and Agile Methodologies from the University of Belgrano (2022-2023).

Since 2007, she has been part of the HR Department of the ArgenINTA Foundation, where she has been responsible for recruitment, monitoring personal and group life insurance policies, and handling internal and external inquiries related to these matters. She has also provided training and support to branch offices and is in charge of health and safety.

From 2019, she served as HR Administrative Assistant, responsible for updating and organizing the digital personnel files of each member of the organization, analyzing and tracking employee vacation time, providing updates to the Accounting Firm, managing employee onboarding and offboarding, handling auto insurance, processing related paperwork, and organizing requests for vehicle use. She also handled matters related to Workers' Compensation (ART) and responded to inquiries via email and telephone.

Since September 2022, she has served as the Human Capital Manager of the Foundation.

PABLO EREDJIAN

HEAD OF LEGAL AFFAIRS

Lawyer, graduated from the University of Buenos Aires, Faculty of Law and Social Sciences, completed specialization in Family Law at the Public Bar Association of the Federal Capital.

Specialization course in Insolvency and Bankruptcy.

In 2006 he started working in the Legal Area of ​​the ArgenINTA Foundation and since 2019 he has been in charge of the Area.

GERARDO GERMÁN ARCURI

MANAGER OF THE ADMINISTRATION AREA

Certified Public Accountant and Bachelor of Administration from UBA.

I joined the Foundation in 2006, worked for 10 years in the Administration Area, involved in all aspects of bank management, account analysis, financial reports and investments, then decided to change sectors, moving to the International Projects Area where I worked in the administration and management of international projects for 7 years.

In September 2023 he was appointed Head of the Accounting and Administrative Management Area and since April 2025 he has been Manager of the Administration Area.

MARCOS RODRÍGUEZ

HEAD OF COMPLIANCE

Quality Engineer, certified by the DGQ (Germany), with an MBA from the Madrid Business School and a degree in Food Industry (UADE).
He has extensive experience in process management, certification, and improvement. He served as Line Manager at Frigorífico Finexcor and held management positions at IRAM, including Deputy Certification Director and Director of Planning and Development. Internationally, he was General Manager of IRAM Chile and ISO 9000 Lead Auditor at AENOR (Spain). He has participated as a speaker on process and conformity assessment topics in various countries in the Americas and other international venues. He also has experience as a university professor and trainer for public and private organizations.
At ArgenINTA Foundation, he joined in 2014 in the Quality Management Area and, after his evolution towards the Compliance Unit, he currently serves as Head of Compliance.
